Earn your degree in just 12 months. The Master of Accountancy is a month cohort-based program. Application requirements include an undergraduate degree majoring in accountancy or equivalent with official university transcripts , a GMAT or GRE test result, two letters of reference, and a application fee.

The GMAT requirement may be waived in certain circumstances, based on academic performance in an undergraduate degree program.

Offered both on-campus and online, the Certificate in Accounting consists of 9 core accounting courses, covering key areas including financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, information systems, and auditing. Gain the skills and expertise to start or grow a career in the field. Graduates will have the 27 hours of college-level accounting coursework required to sit for the CPA exam in Kentucky.

Other states have different requirements. UofL's online Certificate in Accounting delivers in the knowledge needed to pursue or grow a successful career in the accounting field. The program consists of 9 core accounting courses, covering key areas including financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, information systems, and auditing. All of the courses are offered in a fully online format, without restrictive class meeting times—meaning you have the flexibility you need to balance work and life with advancing your accounting education.

This certificate does not qualify for financial aid. A bachelor's degree and an additional 12 credit hours of business courses are also required.

The Certificate in Accounting program at the University of Louisville is designed to help provide sufficient accounting credit hours to sit for the CPA exam in Kentucky. Please note that Kentucky requires a bachelor's degree as well as an additional 12 credit hours of business courses to qualify for the CPA exam.
